Josh Dumphy - Digital Artist

Born and raised in sunny Phoenix, Arizona, Josh’s childhood obsession with the Ninja Turtles and The Simpsons led to many days drawing his favorite characters. Always trying to perfect his work to look more like the characters on the toy packages and TV, a passion for illustration was born.

Progressing from pencil to acrylic, he then went digital in college and pursued a career in Graphic Arts. Graduating in 2004 with a degree in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of Phoenix, he was awarded “Best Portfolio” and “Students Choice” awards.

Since then, Josh has worked on numerous projects ranging from designing band merchandise for musical groups and musicians such as Weezer and Van Morrison, to animation work for the Prince of Dubai. He has extensively studied typography, illustration, composition/layout, color theory, and many other aspects of art and design.
